DRDO's Rustom 2 UAV crashes in Karnataka

DRDO is an unmanned aerial vehicle which has crashed in Karnataka today in the wee hours of morning.  This unmanned aerial vehicle was of Defense Research and Development Organization.  According to the information received, this heavy duty drone has crashed at Jodikikhenahalli in Chitradurga district of Karnataka. 

The name of this heavy drone which crashed at 6 am is being described as Rustom-2. The DRDO successfully tested the Rustom-2 from the Chalkere Test Facility in Karnataka last year. It was being tried today in which it fell to the  accident.  According to reports this UAV suffered a technical snag soon after take off.  

SP of Chitradurga said about the incident, Rustom 2 of DRDO has crashed. It was being tried in which it failed and fell in the open area. People did not know anything about this UAV, so a crowd gathered around to see it.
