Maruti to halt its production for 2 days at Gurugram, Manesar on September 7 and September 9, 2019

According to the statement by Maruti Udyog limited it is going to halt its production for 2 days i.e. September 7 and September 9 and these two days would be termed as no production days.  

Facing real slowdown in the auto sector of the industry and decreasing its production by 33.99%  making it a August seventh straight month of reduced production.  the company produced 1,11,370 units in August this year as compared to 1,68,725 last year.  This had abbreviated to the total slowdown of 33.99% of slowdown.
In September there is severe dip in total sales of 33% as last month total sales was 1,06,413 units as compared to 1,59,189 as August sales last year.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
