Commander of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon and ADG Munir Khan of Jammu and Kashmir have today said in a press conference, "That continuous infiltration is being attempted from Pakistan. We have caught two terrorist both Pakistani and are believed to be of Lashkar-e-Taiba".

He has further told that the terrorists are trying to infiltrate. He said that during interrogation, Lashkar terrorists told that the terrorists across the Line of Control are planning to spread unrest and attack in Kashmir. Also told that Asar Ahmad, who was injured after being stoned on August 6, died today. He was undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
