Communist Party leader of India and former MP Gurudas Dasgupta has died today. He died at his residence in Kolkata in the morning. He was 83. He was suffering from lung cancer. The party has shared information about his death.
CPI secretary Swapan Banerjee in West Bengal has given this information. Banerjee said, Dasgupta died at six in the morning at his residence in Kolkata.
Due to ill health, he left all the posts of the party but he was a member of the National Executive Council of CPI.
