Is Pankaja Munde Resigning From Party

The politics of Maharashtra has once again resurfaced.  Pankaja Munde, daughter of senior BJP leader and veteran BJP leader Gopinath Munde, has indicated to resign from the party.  

After the Facebook post, now recently Pankaja has removed BJP's name from the Twitter bio.  There are speculations about this move, that Pankaja may resign from BJP soon.  

The same Shiv Sena has also said that many BJP leaders are in touch with them.  However, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil has misinformed the news of Pankaja Munde leaving the party.

Just as Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia removed the Congress from his Twitter bio, Pankaja wrote in a Facebook post that she would decide to choose her path in eight to 10 days.  

There is now speculation that she may join Shiv Sena.  On becoming Uddhav Thackeray's CM, Pankaja tweeted and praised him and wished him best wishes

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
