Nirbhaya May Get Justice Today

The court will hear the plea of ​​Pawan Kumar, convicted in the country's most infamous rape case Nirbhaya gang rape.  

Earlier, the Delhi High Court deferred the hearing till January 24, but after the intervention of Nirbhaya's lawyer, the court has withdrawn its decision.  The court will hear it today it is believed that the hearing of the Nirbhaya case will be completed today.  Can the convicts be hanged?  However, the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape case got seven days' time to file a mercy petition.  The case of the four convicts will now be pronounced on January 7.

 In fact, Pawan had filed a petition in the High Court, claiming to be a minor, in his petition that he was a minor in 2012 and he should be treated under Juvenile Justice Act.  In his petition, he claimed that he was a minor at the time of the incident in December 2012.  The trial court has violated his rights as a minor.  Therefore, he should be given the benefit of doubt under the Juvenile Justice Act.
