Alcohol purchase to be limited to 1 bottle at duty free shops ?

Commerce and industry ministry recommends to limit the purchase of duty free alcohol to just 1 bottle.Currently international passengers are allowed to purchase two litres of alcohol from duty free shops, and if the recommendations are accepted soon those booze hauls will only be limited to 1 litre.

In addition to that, the Commerce industry has also suggested to slash the number of cigarettes that the passenger can buy from .So the chances are that you can no more see cigarettes on the duty free shelves.

Although the ministry is yet to take their final decision but if it works in the favor of Commerce ministry the chances are that announcement will be made by Finance Minister in the Union Budget which will be presented on 1st February.
