On the occasion of Republic Day shock took place when four blasts took place in Dibrugarh and Charaidev districts. These blasts occurred when the country was celebrating Republic Day. According to the police, all the blasts took place between 8:30 AM and within minutes everything changed. Although there is no news of anyone being killed in the blasts.
According to the information received, it happened area of Sonari in Charaidev district. After this, an explosion took place at Graham Bazar in Dibrugarh district and near the AT Gurdwara. Police say that according to footage from CCTV two motorcycle-borne youths hurled grenades. The same AT road has exploded with improvised explosive devices. After the incident, the Chief Minister of the state, Sarbananda Sonewal, has condemned the blasts and has said to take action against the culprits. The police is investigating the scene of the incident.
