Eminent Congress Leader Hardik Patel Arrested

Eminent Congress's leader and former Patidar movement organizer Hardik Patel has been arrested on charges of treason in Gujarat.  On Saturday, a non-bailable warrant was issued against Hardik, after which Gujarat police have arrested Hardik from Ahmedabad's Viramgaon.

 A case of treason was registered against Hardik Patel for the violence at the Patidar Reservation Support Rally and a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.  Violence took place during the agitation and government settlements, police tanks and government property were damaged.  Many people including a policeman were killed in this violence.
