Indian Team Announced For New Zealand Tour

India has announced the ODI team for the tour of New Zealand.  Indian cricket team opener Shikhar Dhawan has been dropped from the tour of New Zealand due to a shoulder injury.  Sanju Samson has been included in place of Shikhar Dhawan.  Samson was dropped after the series against Sri Lanka.  

This time India has given batsman Prithvi Shaw a chance in the team for the New Zealand tour.  BCCI has given this information in a statement issued.  The BCCI has said in its statement that Shikhar Dhawan has been dropped from the T20 and ODI series of New Zealand tour.  Because in the match played against Australia, he suffered a shoulder injury while stopping the ball.

 India has to play a five-match T20 series in New Zealand.  The series starts on January 24, after which a three-match series will be played.  

India has captained Virat Kohli, vice captain Rohit Sharma, Sanju Samson, Lokesh Rahul, Shreyas, Manish Pandey, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, Shivam Dubey, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Navdeep Saini for the New Zealand tour.  Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur are included.
