Mamta Banerjee Compared As Demon By BJP MLA

The BJP, which talks about etiquette, has taken on one on one West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamta Banerjee.  

Recently, BJP MLA Surendra Singh, who is in the discussion about his statements, has made a controversial statement, accusing Mamata Banerjee of being derogative.  BJP MLA Surendra Singh has compared Mamta to the demon.  He has said that,"Mamta is the head of demons, she is like Ravan of Sri Lanka, not only that, she has accused Mamata that she has killed thousands of Hindus and protects the terrorists.  Mamta Banerjee has the traits of a demon.  Nor do she have any women-like characteristics.  That's why we are calling them demons, not human beings".

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
