MNS/SHIVSENA :War to become the real heir of Bal Thackeray's ideology

23rd January marks the birth date of Mumbai's Godfather Bal Thackeray. And on this day, MNS leader Raj Thackeray paid tribute to uncle and Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray by changing the party's flag, indicating a likely ideological shift for 14-year-old Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), which was founded by Raj after he was separated from Shivsena.

The political scenario in Maharashtra has changed alot after elections. Shiv Sena which once relied on the ideology of Hindutva, formed government with the support of NCP and Congress, which are totally opposite when it comes to sharing ideology.Whereas MNS today by changing it's flag showed their strong intention of supporting Hindutva ideology, moving ahead from their ideology of 'Marathi Manush'.On the other hand, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray will also visit Ayodhya Ram Mandir on the completion of 100 days of their government in Maharashtra.Such a situation has intensified the battle between the two, to become the real successor to the political legacy of Bal Thackeray.

Raj Thackeray is leading a full day program 'Maha adhiveshan' in Mumbai on this auspicious day today. He also introduced his son Amit Thackeray formally in the party today. The five-color flag of the MNS is now changed to Saffron color and has a seal of Shivaji and a shloka written in Sanskrit language.
