Shirdi Dispute Reaches Court

After solving Ayodhya's Ram temple, the matter of birth place of Shirdi Sai Baba, the famous religious place of Maharashtra, has reached the court of High Court.  There has been a dispute in Maharashtra over the birthplace of Sai Baba, people of Pathri village have claimed that Sai Baba was born in Pathri itself.

Some locals of Shirdi say that Sai Baba was born in Shirdi.  The villagers of Pathri say that the dispute of Sai Baba's birthplace will now be resolved by the High Court.  People of Pathri village say that he will file a petition in the Bombay High Court and will also present 26 proofs before the court.

This dispute has happened after a statement by CM Uddhav Thackeray.  CM Uddhav Thackeray had said that Sai Baba was born in Parthi village of Parbhani district, development work will be done there at a cost of Rs 100 crore.  After his statement, the people of Shirdi village are in a rage.  The people of Shirdi say that Shirdi will remain closed until the government says that this development work is not being done due to Sai Baba's birthplace in Parathi.  In Paarthi village, you can do development work of Rs100 crores but the people of Shirdi do not accept Parthi village as the birth place of Sai Baba.  Although devotees can visit Sai Baba, shops in the city will remain closed.  No ashram of the city will open, nor will any vehicles run in the city.
