A college in Patna issued notice telling Muslim women will not be allowed to wear Burqa inside the college premises. The name of the college is JD Women's College.
The notice explains"All students have to come to college in the prescribed dress code, every day except on Saturday. Students are prohibited from wearing 'burqa' in college. A fine of Rs 250 will be imposed for violation."The notice regarding the new dress code is signed by the college proctor and principal.
As soon as the image of the notice was issued,it went viral within seconds.The students said that they will oppose it and the action is not justified.The college authority cleared that prior to admission, students will be informed about the dress code in college.
