Delhi's Patiala House Court has announced the death sentence for the country's most infamous Nirbhaya gang rape and murder accused. The four convicts will be hanged on January 22 at 7 am.
According to jail sources, after the death warrant was issued against the culprits, the convicts stayed awake in Tihar Jail overnight. The culprits did not even eat food. The four accused have been kept in separate cells. However, the culprits ate breakfast in the morning and food in the evening on Wednesday.
It is also being told that when the convicts were taken to Tihar Jail Hospital for investigation, the four accused were under stress. The culprits did not even properly talk to the doctors during the investigation. Until the culprits are hanged, the doctor will continuously examine them.
At the same time, the jail administration has also got executioner to hang the culprits from Meerut in UP, Pawan executioner will come to Tihar Jail. Jail sources say that Meerut jail officials reached Pawan Jallad's house on Wednesday and informed him to hang the culprits. It is believed that Pawan hangman will reach Tihar Jail on 20 January.
