Steps were taken by the Delhi government along with the Police department to curb the violence.
According to Joint Police Commissioner Eastern range Alok Kumar on violence in North Eastern Delhi yesterday. Police has been stationed at strategical area and points where there has been chance of disturbances.
These points are marked as Jaffrabad, Seelampur, Maujpur, Gautampuri, Bhajanpura, Chandbagh, Mustafabad, Wazirabad and Shiv Bihar areas of north west Delhi.
