    Famous Novelist Jaswant Singh Passes Away At The Age Of 101

    Jaswant Singh Kanwal, Punjab's famous novelist and Sahitya Akademi Awardee has passed away at the age of 101.  He died in his village Dhadike on Saturday.  Jaswant Singh will be cremated today in his native village.  

    Jaswant Singh received Sahitya Akademi Award in 1998, Jaswant Singh was awarded Sahitya Shiromani Award by the Punjab Government in 2007.  Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condoled the death of Jaswant Singh.
