Fresh Alarming Cases Of Coronavirus Reported

Fresh reports are coming in from Korea where fresh 123 cases of coronavirus have been reported so far.

According to the sources with these new cases of coronavirus total number of cases reported from Korea now heads upto 556.

As reported coronavirus has taken a toll of more than 2000 people so far in China and many tens of thousands of people have been affected by it.

This virus has spread in more than 29 countries so far. With the economy of China badly affected by this virus and severely shaken.  The factories and business establishments have been totally shut down in China.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
