Jaffarabad Metro Station Shut Down

Reports are coming in from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation where the comapny has taken a stand to close the entry and exit of Jaffarabad.  

Now the trains will not be stopping here as per reports.  The decision was taken by the department as there have been fresh reports of women protesting here.

The protesters have been protesting against CAA & NRC for more than 70 days.  And mediation efforts done by the Supreme Court between the government and the protesters have not been fruitiful.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
