Kahmiri Pandit died in Jaipur, Kashmiri Youth created Ruckus

A murder took place in Jaipur in Rajasthan.A Kashmiri youth has been murdered in Jaipur. As the reports are coming in, there was a fight on 5 February in Harmada police station area. Basit got seriously injured in this fight. He is a resident of Kaupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Basit's treatment was going on in the SMS hospital. He died on Friday. After Basit's death, Kashmiri youths gathered outside the SMS mortuary and created a ruckus. And demanding justice for Basit.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
