Peter Mukerjea gets bail in Sheena Bora Murder case from Bombay High Court today. In 2015, police arrested Peter Mukerjea and sent him to jail and after 5 years he gets bail.
Sheena Bora died in 2012. Her mother Indrani is still in jail. Peter Mukherjee claimed many times that the investigating agencies have no concrete evidence against him. Peter says that when Sheena Bora was killed, he was in London at the time
Apart from granting bail, the High Court has kept this order pending for six weeks so that CBI can appeal against this bail in the Supreme Court. This means that Peter Mukerjea got bail, but he cannot be released from jail for six weeks.
