Will Ram Mandir Case Again Witness Judicial Scenario

The Modi government has announced the Ram Mandir Construction Trust and the names of the trustees of the trust have also been announced.  But since the formation of the trust number of protests have begun.  Some priests are opposing the trust.  Recently, the president of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, Nritya Gopal Das has expressed his displeasure over the trust and he has also called an emergency meeting of several priests.

 Swami Avimukteshwaranand the disciple of the same Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati, has also protested about the formation of the trust.  

Swami Avimukteshwarananda says that he will now go to court against the trust.  Swami Avimukteshwaranand has accused the Central Government of creating a trust and contempted court and including saints in the trust.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
