Around 24 States Totally Lock Down:- Curfew Imposed In Punjab

Recent reportpers coming in from Government of India which has ordered complete lockdown of around 24 states in the country.

As reported 24 States have been completely lock down including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Mizoram, Jammu Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, uttarakhand,  Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Orissa.

Where is curfew has been imposed in Punjab because people of Punjab for not following orders of the Government of India for proper lockdown.

Prime Minister Modi earlier has also taken a press briefing with various media personal of various media houses asking them to limit the news which is been surfaced to the people.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
