Death Warrant Issued Against Nirbhaya's Convicts

According to the latest reports coming in from Delhi's Patiala House court where the court has issued a new death warrant for the four accused in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case.  

Now the four convicts will be hanged at 6 am on March 20.  Nirbhaya's family members expressed happiness after the new death warrant was issued.  Nirbhaya's mother has said that Nirbhaya finally got justice and punishment for the culprits.

All the options of the culprits are over now.  The court has today issued a fourth death warrant for the convicts.  The convicts have been sentenced to death from the lower court to the Supreme Court.  But due to legal betting all the four convicts have survived till now.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
