Procurement Of Eighty Three Mark 1A Aircraft In Indian Air Force

Reports have been coming in from the Defence Ministry Government of India.

According to latest reports defence ministry today has approved the procurement of eighty three light combat aircraft Mark 1A from USA.

The deal has been finalized buy Indian Air force and Ministry of External Affairs after clearing all the contractual and other issues.

Now the contract will be put before the Cabinet Ministry for its approval headed by Prime Minister Modi.

As per reports these aircrafts are the latest aircraft of US Army and the decision to include these aircraft in Indian Air Force was taken in the budget of this year

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
