Stranded Indian Students Have Sent SOS Messages

As per reports coming in from Italy where around 85 Indian students have been stranded.

As per sources around 85 Indian students have been stranded in Pavia in North Italy.  These students have send SOS messages for immediate evacuation from the country as 15 of the non teaching staff of their university tested positive for Coronavirus.

Half of them had booked their flights back to India but as soon as the outbreak was asertained in Italy their flights got cancelled and they were struck in Italy.

Now the students have send SOS messages to government of India to evacuate them on urgent basis.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
