Door To Door Survey To Be Done In UP And Bengal For Covid-19

Report having coming in from Uttar Pradesh and Bengal where the Government of both the states have decided to check for Corona positive patients in a door to door survey.

Already this kind of survey was told to have been carried out in Delhi when Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have informed the media that door to door survey will be done and every person will be checked for covid-19 infection in all the high alert areas of Delhi.

Now Bengal and Uttar Pradesh chief ministers have shared that all the houses will be cordoned and check of covid-19 infection in the high alert zones.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
