145 Shramik Trains Scheduled To Depart From Maharashtra Today

After long planning and dedicated hardship Indian Railways have prepared 145 shramik trains which will leave Maharashtra today to evacuate migrant labours who are struck there.

It was the meticulous planning and long efforts of Indian Railways that it had achieved the target of around 145 shramik trains and mobilizing migrant labours out of Maharashtra today.

These trains will be departing from Maharashtra on May 26, 2020.  The schedule of these trains have been notified to the Maharashtra Government and administration happiness to bring about migrant labours to the railway stations for their easy exit of the state.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
