Heart Wrenching Pictures At Various Airports Today After Domestic Air Travel Started

With domestic flights resumed from today, many heart rendering pictures were seen airport in various states of the country.

One such picture came up from Bengaluru airport where a mother came to pick her five year old son who arrived while he was travelling alone from New Delhi.

This 5 year old boy was travelling from New Delhi airport to Bengaluru all alone as he came back after three months to be united with her mother and family.

However passengers left for Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru where two flights have landed till now.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
