Rescue Operations In Full Swing In Vizag Gas Leakage:- Leaders Express Their Condolences


Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of Visakhapatnam situation has called a meeting at 11:00 a.m. with top officials of NDMA.

Around 8 people are feared dead in the incident and 5000 have fallen sick.

As stated by DG NDRF to ANI total number of 27 persons of National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) are involved in the relief and rescue operation in the Visakhapatnam LG Polymers gas leak tragedy.  

These people are expert in dealing with the industrial leakage.  Around 80 to 90% of the rescue operation has now been completed.

According to the Home Minister Amit Shah the incident which has occurred in Visakhapatnam is very disturbing and the government is closely monitoring the well being and the rescue operations held there.

In a tweet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that he is shocked about the incident which has occurred in Visakhapatnam and has asked Congress workers there to help in this situation and do whatever could be done.  He has expressed his deep condolences to the families of the next of kin.
