UP Administration Approves Congress Offer Of Buses For Migrant Workers

Uttar Pradesh administration in a special guideline has approved Congress government Priyanka Gandhi is request to provide buses to themigrant workers of Uttar Pradesh to reach their native places.

The Uttar Pradesh administration has said Congress Party to immediately share the the driver details and bus details for verification and so that quarantined process could be started.

Earlier Congress party worker Priyanka Gandhi have requested the government to avail 180 buses which the Congress party was providing for the migrant workers for their easy transit.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
