Apple's App Store, Apple Pay Targeted By EU Anti Trust Regulators



Reports of coming in in that Apple on Tuesday found itself the target of two EU anti-trust investigations into its App Store and Apple Pay as the bloc turned up the heat on online gatekeepers over alleged anti-competitive business practices aimed at blocking rivals.


European commission has also done investigation into the mandatory use of apples proprietary in app purchase system and rules preventing app developers from informing iPhone and iPad user of cheaper option elsewhere.


This case is also followed by a complaint from Swedish music streaming service Spotify last year which claims that Apple wasworse and fairly restricting devices to use its own music streaming service Apple music.
