Final Guidelines On Reopening Of Schools Awaiting Approval


Reports are coming in that final guidelines on reopening of school and use of digital technology in education are awaiting for approval from Health and Home Ministry after consultation with the state government on Monday . Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also emphasied the safety of student and teachers.


There is a widespread demand for postponement or cancellation of Central and state board examination schedule which is to be held in June and July as COVID-19 cases continue to shoot up in many major cities previously Mr Nishankhas indicated that school will not reopen until August. But now news are coming for speculation about school reopening dates.


Mr Nishank is also concern about the health and safety of students , hygiene measures in schools and issues regarding online and digital learning in their states. He also emphasis that priority has always been safety and security of students and teachers. The suggestion received will be examined and send to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of Home Affairs for appropriate actions regarding  framing guidelines for education sector during covid-19 times.
