Lord Balaji Temple To Be Opened For Darshanas From June 08, 2020

In a major decisions taken by Lord Balaji temple, the administration has decided to open lord Balaji temple for the public from June 8, 2020.

This is the first time in the history that lord Balaji temple has been closed for public for nearly about 75 days due to the outspread covid-19 pandemic in the country.

Administration of lord Balaji temple is deciding on the precautions and norms which has to be taken to open the Temple for public Darshanas.

The transport, laddu and how many people have to be admitted at the same time in 1 hour so that social distancing to be maintained is now to be reviewed.

The decision to close the temple because of the covid-19 pandemic was taken by the central government.  

And now the central government has allowed to open the temples on May 30th, 2020.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
