    Railway Refunds Rs 1885 Crore To Passengers Who Booked Tickets During Lockdown


    Reports are coming in that railways had refunded rupees 1885 Crore to passenger who booked tickets during lockdown and whose tickets are cancelled due to lock down.

    The Indian Railway has suspended its regular passenger train services during lock down due to spread of Coronavirus in India. Now Indian Railway are facing challenge to return a huge amount of money towards refund to rail passengers.

    Railway has successfully refunded rupees 1885 crores towards cancellation of tickets to passenger during the period of March 21 to may 31. The entire cost of ticket has been refunded.

    The money has been refunded in account from where the payment was made at the time of booking.
