Mayawati Will Contest Alone In 2022

 Preparations have started for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held in 2022.  While another one was speculating about these elections till now, BSP supremo Mayawati can come in support of BJP, while Mayawati has denied all these news by making a big organizational reshuffle.  Actually, in view of elections, Bahujan Samaj Party has started the process of restructuring its cadre and sector in-charge in the districts.

 According to reports, Mayawati has made a major reshuffle in the appointment of sector and divisional in-charge, giving some responsibilities to almost all senior party leaders.  They are being seen as preparations for the 2020 elections.  Let us tell you that one thing is clear in view of these preparations that Mayawati will promote her own party (BSP) in the 2020 assembly elections without supporting any other party.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
