    Section 144 Imposed In Mumbai Banning All Movement In The City

    In a major decision taken by Government of Maharashtra section 144 has been imposed in Mumbai by Commissioner of Police Pranaya Ashok.

    This section will prohibit any presence or movement of one more persons in public areas or gathering whatsoever.  This will include religious places subject to certain conditions.

    This is being done with the view to a severe about spread of covid-19 in Mumbai and the adjoining areas.  Recent days there has been large spread cases of covid-19 in Mumbai.
