Covid-19 Still Unstoppable In India

India is fighting vigoursly to the after effects and present condition of covid.

All the efforts of bringing life back to normal of government of India is bearing fruits but till now spread of covid-19 is not stopping in the country.

As per recent reports of Ministry Of Health and Family welfare COVID19 case tally crosses 50 lakh mark with a spike of 90,123 new cases & 1,290 deaths in last 24 hours.

The total cases tally of Covid 19 stands at 50,20,360 including 9,95,933 active cases, 39,42,361 cured/discharged/migrated & 82,066  deaths.

Worst affected states from Covid 19 are the national capital of the country New Delhi, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
