Police Arrested Five People Including One Sudan National For Selling NDMA Crystals

Reports have been coming in from Bengaluru where Bangalore Police arrested five persons.

Asnper reports coming in these five persons included  a Sudan national who were indulged in selling MDMA crystal and 'jurrasis' tablet. 

The police were on the lookout for these people for a very long time and have been investigating the case for many days. Police have seized 50 gms of 100 'jurrasis' tablet and 10 gms of MDMA crystal worth around Rs 5 lakh. DCP East, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
