Bihar Elections: Tough Competition For Parties

These days elections are at peak in Bihar. On one hand, the BJP has shown the way out to those who are not getting tickets from the BJP, while the LJP has cleared the rift between the two by taking their candidate against BJP in the election. 

 The BJP has made it clear that from where the LJP has made the rebel leaders of the BJP their candidate, the BJP will campaign with full power.

Actually, after Chirag Paswan split from NDA, Chirag Paswan had said that he is separating from NDA, but not from Narendra Modi. We will field our candidates in all the seats in the elections and will strengthen BJP and Narendra Modi after Bihar elections. We will field our candidates against JDU in the elections, but not against BJP. 

But in the meantime the news came that the LPG from Rosda has put up its candidate against the BJP candidate. The Modi-Chirag friendly statement has now come to an end.

LJP has announced its candidate from Rosda assembly. Chirag has given ticket to his cousin Krishna Raj from Rosda seat. Krishna Raj will file his nomination for the Rosada Assembly on 15 October.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
