Local Indian Breed Dogs Trained For NDRF Dog Squad

Reports have been coming in from Ghaziabad where Indian breed dogs are also being trained by NDRF, as a part of the Force's dog squad. 

As reported by ANI, PK Tiwary, Commandant 8th Battalion, NDRF says, "Their ability to detect and operational ability is no less than any foreign breed. All it requires is a little patience to handle them" 

As per reported earlier PM Modi had always advocated for 'vocal for local'.  And this effect of  NRDF is a genuine initiative. 

Under that initiative training of Indian breed dogs was carried out. Initially we faced a lot of difficulties, some of those dogs even ran away. But we trained some of them, Commandant 8th Battalion, NRDF.
