Nine People Lost Lives And 17 Injured In Severe Accident In Gujarat

Early reports are coming in from Gujarat where a tragic road accident has occured which left nine dead and 17 injured.

As per reports coming in a tragic accident has occured in which two trucks have collided with each other.  In the accident nine people have died and 17 others are severely injured when the trucks they were travelling collided with each other.

This accident occurred at Waghodia Crossing Highway in Vadodara earlier this morning. The injured have been admitted in a hospital where they are undergoing treatment. 

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani has said that I'm much saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident near Vadodara. 

The Chief Minister also said that he has personally instructed officials to do needful. May those who have been injured recover at the earliest. I pray for the departed souls.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
