A New Coronavirus Strain Found In UK

Reports have been coming in from Tamil Nadu Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan in an interview to ANI has stated that we are testing for COVID-19 passengers of flights originating or halting in UK. 

One such passenger tested positive yesterday. It's incorrect to presume that he is infected with UK variant of COVID. We'll send his samples to NIV, Pune.

We are also identifying the people who travelled to UK in the last 10 days & ensuring they all test negative in RT-PCR testing.

As per reports a  new strain of deadly coronavirus has been found in the UK which is more deadly than Covid-19.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
