18 patroling track to be built in Arunachal on China border, approved by central government

 


The central government has approved the construction of 18 border patrol tracks to increase patrolling along the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh. This will helpp the Indian Army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police to develop infrastructure in inaccessible areas adjoining China.

At present ITBP has 180 border post along with indo-china border. patroling along the india china border to devlop infrastructre at a cost of Rs 1,162 crore rupees has been approved. According to the proposal, 18 border patrol track will be buit in an area of 600km of china border.



 There is 3,488 km of Line of Control between India and China with 1,126 km in Arunachal Pradesh. The remaining 2,362 km. The border is in Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh.
