Chamoli glacier flood: fear of flood water reaching Haridwar by 9 pm




Chamoli: Everyone is stunned by the devastation caused by nature in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. About 150 workers are reported missing in the flood that has come after the glacier burst. Let us tell you that the flood water is expected to reach Haridwar by 4 pm in Srinagar, Rishikesh at 8 pm and by 9 pm due to which the administration has ordered the beaches to be evacuated.


On the Uttarakhand accident, Home Minister Amit Shah has tweeted, "I have spoken to Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat, DG of ITBP and DG NDRF regarding the information of natural disaster in Uttarakhand. All the concerned officers are working on a war footing to secure the people. NDRF teams have left for rescue operations. Every possible help will be provided to Devbhoomi.




Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also eyeing the whole situation. During the visit to Assam, PM Modi spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat about the relief and rescue work. PM Modi is constantly taking every update. Now Prime Minister Modi has also written a tweet in which he has written that the whole country is praying for the well-being of the victims.
