IAF Chief Says That Tensions Between India And China Closely Monitored

As per recent reports coming in from IAF Chief while he spoke to ANI has said that situation there (India-China border) is that talks are going on.

All depends on how talks go. Lot of attention is being given to that and if de-escalation and disengagement starts, it'll be good. If it doesn’t happen or some new situation happens,we're fully prepared.

Chinese had brought their J-20 fighter aircraft (to areas close to Eastern Ladakh) and they go off from there but that is the flexibility of air power.

The moment Indian Rafales were brought in, their J-20 was there. We know their actions and capabilities as per IAF Chief RKS Bhadauria.

From China’s side, there've been some pullbacks from air deployment and changes in deployment.

But there have been some other actions which are contrary like strengthening their air defence capability, those deployments haven't reduced and deployments are being strengthened.

IAF Chief RKS Bhadauria on being asked if Rafale aircraft has caused worries in the Chinese camp has said that Of course, it will.

However on various issues relating to trans-border rivers are discussed with China under institutionalized Expert Level Mechanism established in 2006.

And through diplomatic channels. We intend to remain engaged with China on issue of trans-border rivers to safeguard our interests as per MoS-Ministry of External Affairs in Lok Sabha.
