Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Rescue Operations Still Continuing In Uttarakhand

Recent reports coming in from Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) where the Police personnel are continuing their efforts in the rescue mission in the glacier burst in the valley.

As per reports coming in ITBP personnel continue to distribute ration and essential items in Suki, Lata and Bhalgaun villages which have been cut off due to flash flood in Dhauliganga.

As per latest reports from Uttarakhand where ITBP personnel are still looking for missing persons on the banks of Dhauli Ganga and barrage sites in Tapovan and Raini.

As reported earlier most of the casualties were reported from this area as these were worst affected from the glacier burst.

Till now 38 bodies have been recovered so far.  However relief and rescue operation is underway.  As per reported by Chamoli Police, Uttarakhand on glacier burst incident.
