UN Asks Protesting Farmers For Peaceful Protest

Latest reports have been coming in from UN with in a statement have stated that the UN calls on peaceful protest by the farmers and that peace and harmony should be maintained between both the farmers and administration.

UN also stated that authorities and protesters to exercise maximum restraint in ongoing Farmers Protests. The rights to peaceful assembly and expression should be protected both offline and online. 

It's crucial to find equitable solutions with due respect to Human Rights for all as per reports coming in from UN Human Rights.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
