Schools up to class 8 closed in UP till March 31

 

All schools up to class 8 closed in Uttar Pradesh till March 31 due to raise in corona virus cases.

After more cases of corona were reported in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has issued orders to close all the schools up to class 8 by March 31. According to the government order, all the schools will be closed from March 24 to 31. This order of the government is for all educational institutions in the state and schools which do not have any examination.

The government has taken this decision in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state. In a meeting of officials chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath recently, it was decided to close the schools.

On Monday, 46,951 cases of corona were reported across the country. Out of which 488 cases were reported from Uttar Pradesh. Till date, there have been 3036 active cases in UP. While 8759 people have died in the state so far. 5,95,743 people have died across the country. Raise in Corona cases are most visible in eight states of the country including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi. In view of the increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, the state government has announced a weekend lockdown, while the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the lockdown in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur on Sunday.
