Children Below 18 Years Are Our Priority: Health Ministry

Latest reports have been coming in from Union Minister of Health has said that several questions have been raised regarding the higher vulnerability of children to get adversely impacted by COVID-19 during the subsequent waves, if any. 

According to sources experts have allayed these fears and apprehensions on several platforms according to Union Health Ministry.

COVID-19 in children is often asymptomatic and seldom requires hospitalization, with the possibility of a small percentage of children who get infected requiring hospitalization. 

According to the Health Ministry Covaxin trials have also started in children between 2-18 years.
